Natalie has had over 20 years experience designing and producing both fashion garments and costume, and 10 years experience styling for television, advertising and advertorial.

RagLab has been a fashion label for 5 years. Before Raglab, Natalie had a label called Belly Clothing for 3 years.

Natalie is qualified in:

production of fashion clothing and running a shop/small business

the art of costume making including period clothing, Mardi Gras and Theatre pieces;

Freelance Stylist Assistant on shoots for ‘Marie Claire’, ‘Cosmopolitan’,'Elle’ magasins; Country Road, Westfield, Kolotex, Grace Bros (now Myers) to name a few;

ABC Television - wardrobe, on set as wardrobe assistant for ‘Bananas in Pyjamas’ and ‘Fallen Angels’;
Costume Hire with over 5000 period and modern costumes learning about the costume periods and styles.

TCN Channel Nine - wardrobe, various jobs including shopping with and for the presenters, sourcing garments for special events ie. The Logies, styling costume shoots and advertising shoots through Nine’s advertising department and sewing special requests.

The McDonald College (Performing Arts College)/Costume Department (ongoing);
roles include design, styling and production for many of the performances produced by the school in both the areas of Dance and Drama, liaising with Teachers and students and advising on Period clothing styles and fashions.

Opera Australia - costume department working on period costumes ranging from corsets to crinolines for various operas, including ‘The Tales of Hoffman’, ‘Arabella’, ‘Carmen’, ‘Don Giovanni’.

Mardi Gras Costumes - produced various costumes for the parade, party and associated Mardi Gras performances since 1990, including costumes for The Frocks, Rocco Carlos Comacho’s Art Exhibition for the Dance installation (1996), Pretty Bionic (ongoing) and Lytex (Drag).

‘The Magic Toyshop ‘ Ballet by Suzanne Hediger Academy of Dancing.Made the majority of the costumes including faeries, bears, cats, and dolls of different nationalities.

Design and Produce - custom made themed Wedding gowns, suits and formal dresses having just completed a Logies dress for Courtney Gibson, Head of ABC Comedy and Entertainment, who is a regular client. Custom garments are a favourite of mine.
